(I've been reading youtube Nick Gisburne's latest book "The Atheists Are Revolting" and he made a valid point I want to bring up.)
Christians:
Your argument is that the world is too vast and complex that it must have been created. But surely, then, one god isn't enough, right? Perhaps there are 2 gods; 50 gods; a thousand gods.
Your analogy is comparing the universe to a watch and God to the watch maker.
But watches have more than one creator: One for the glass for the face (heats sand and then moulds it); one for the copper and zinc ores digged up (and then melting them down and mixing them to make brass); one for the batteries if it's a modern battery (using leather from a cow and making the appropriate technology for batteries); one for the tools used for making the watch (e.g., tweezers, magnifying glass)... and so on.
A watch has several watch makers.
So surely the universe, the Earth, the animals, etc. need a huge team of designers and manufacturers to build them, right?

But WHY have one God and make him omnipotent?
Isn't the universe TOO COMPLEX to have a single creator behind it all?
Christians want atheists to disprove their one god. Now I want you to disprove a second one added (or several gods).
Don't dodge the question. Think about it.

Men wanted to make another religion. They stole things from the pagans and converted them (or just killed them). They wanted to make something unique from the pagan beliefs, so they made ONE god instead of many. They already stole the man-god idea (Mithras, Osiris, etc) by making Jesus, so they HAD to think of something that would make them stand out from the "crowd", so to speak.
According to the Christians and their god, worshipping other gods is wrong. (Which also makes it seem like the Christian god is admitting that other gods exist.) But, if people had been worshipping multiple gods for years before Christianity came along and they weren't killed or punished for it, then there must not be a problem with worshipping multiple gods.
I believe, personally, that there are many gods. They are one and many. A belief of Kemetic (Egyptian) origin - monolatry. There is a god for everything in nature. One singular god couldn't do everything by itself. There has to be many forms and manifestations.

You can't worship Gods. God is powerful, he can do anything. Frankly, those polytheistic religions undermine their Gods because they don't trust their power since they have other Gods for different jobs. We give all our trust to God, because he doesn't need any help. He doesn't need the help of other "Gods" becuase he is the Almighty. When you have different Gods, how do you which is the Supreme or which is more powerful or has higher stature? Are you going to pick a favorite or do you worship at the same level all of the Gods? How can you owe your loyalty to different Gods? I don't see that happening.

Christianity never technically claims there is only one God in existence, just ONE God worthy of Worship.
God in the bible defined himself as the Alpha and the Omega the first and the last(leaving room in the middle). He said I am YOUR one true God(speaking to all who came from the Abrahamic Covenenant ), Thou shalt have no other (implying there were others) gods before me.
Christianity hold attributive monoism, One will and One intellect. it never says one diety.

Considering that God is omnipotent, your theory about multiple gods is baseless.
Now why would God, who can literally speak things into existence, need a team of designers?

To answer your question, because there IS only one GOD.
But, there are many many gods!
Now, I won't explain that now.
But--
GOD = Creator
god = ?
(o.k. give you a hint, a god can choose what words he,she wants to speak, thats all there is to it, satan chose his words (sinned) and got damned for it--satan didn't have the authority to choose his words).

Why only one God you ask?
Only because the one true God is all that's needed.
All others are fake.
