Warning this is kinda gross....I've had a lip ring for almost a year. I use listerine everyday at least twice. A few months after I first got it the ring, a small bump came up behind where the ring enters the inside of my mouth....I figured it is the extra skin that is trying to grow back, and would go away in time. I had something similar underneath my belly ring, and it went away. Anyway recently the bump got big, this has happened before and I clean it good with peroxide and it goes back down. This time it is not going down some but there is white puss coming out....ewww.....Has anyone else had this problem? If so what do you do? I am sure if I show a doctor they'll say to take out my ring, but I don't want to do that! Thanks

It could be infected. That could get bad. Check it out with your doctor, and he/she probably won't recommend removing it unless it's safer to do so. And if you're against it that badly, then take your chances and leave it in. It's better to be educated, though.

Just possibly God never intended us humans to have a LIP RING. So you never know what will go wrong since it is not a natural thing to do to your lip.
Actually it is not so bad without a ring there.

Yeah, that's why you don't use Listerine.
