an hour and a half is NOT long distance! - My man lives 200 miles away from me (that's 6 hours by train!) and we work better than any of my past relationships have... He spends every weekend at my house, and I spend the hols at his sometimes.

Yeah it works :) I love him

- we also met on tinternet if that helps...

It is very possible to have a long distance relationship that will last. There are many of us doing just that now. With the advent of the Internet into the dating world it is possible to meet people from every walk of life and from around the world at the touch of a key.....

Making the relationship work is the hard part. You have to be committed to making it last and moving the relationship along. It may be slow and expensive, but if you both want it badly enough, you can do it.

Are you willing to talk on the phone for hours learning about one another? Are you willing to spend the money it will take to see her/him once in a while? Is one of you willing at some point to move to be together?

Just having a relationship on the computer or phone will quickly become tiresome. You have to be willing to share who you are until it is time for you to meet, and then decide if moving forward is what you both want. If it is, then a commitment to remain strong while you are both away from each other is difficult. But if you love each other, you will be able to withstand whatever life throws at you.

But anything is possible, all it takes is wanting to make it work. And both of you must want that.

It works for some people, and for others no. I could never do it, I love hugging and kissing and being around my boyfriend. Give it a try though, plenty of people have started with long distance relationships and ended up getting married. It's also a great way to earn trust and get to know eachother without the phisical stuff first. Good luck!

Never meeting somone i would say don't bother... But thats for you to decide. I was with a girl for 4 years with the last 3 being long distance. They can work for a while, but at some point the distance has to close.

well if its an internet relationship, honestly, No. But if it's a person to person relationship, it might work if you have the strength to stick through with it. Some of my friends have gf's/bf's that live like an hour or two away and it's worked out okay. there's the whole trust issue of course, but it really depends on the couple and if they are willing to work through it.

An hour and a half isn't long distance. If you like the person, I suggest you make the trip.

No they don't......because eventually the time will come when your going to feel lonely and everyone but everyone needs a companion sometimes. I't seems to me that you have feelings for someone that is miles away.... But it happen to me so I know that it's only a matter a time before you bump in to that special someone, who knows it might take 2-3 years but it will happend

Umm, I would say that you should probably meet her. That sometimes helps. But if you are both decent conversationalists, and are willing ot ake the drive every once in a while, then it definately could work out. Good luck!
