The question Jesus asked himself.

Matthew 16:26. "For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?"

"Quid enim prodest homini si mundum universum lucretur animae vero suae detrimentum patiatur aut quam dabit homo commutationem pro anima sua"

Sorry, but you can't lose a soul. There aren't any. Souls are superstition.

It is also written that the greatest sin is the love of money. Essentially for example they said long ago we would have bad hurricanes if we cut down the Rain Forests. So probably some US related big business went down cut down the rain forest and stored all the precious desired wood to help drive up the prices. Then we have had increasingly bad hurricanes and alot of these wealthy business people owned prime real estate here on the Florida coast line and some have even lost their lives. What goes around comes around. There was not any profit realized in the long run even those who are after profit will suffer and reap what they sew.

that's from the recent testomony, spoken by utilising Jesus. To me it ability that the flaws of the international - textile wealth, luxuries, skill, are no longer genuine, they'll turn to airborne dirt and dirt. To stay in mindfulness and with judgment of right and incorrect (ie self wisdom consistent with wisdom and mirrored image upon our thoughts, concepts, movements) is to create a soul - some thing all of us have the aptitude to create yet which for many in no way happens. many times that's the main prosperous and efficient who're the main lifeless interior, cut back off from the genuine floor of their being and lost in worldly illusions. What happens if we do create a soul? If any people does i think that's as quickly as we can locate out. meanwhile please have not got self assurance which you have, for: 'strait is the gate and slender is the way that ends up in eternal existence' (extra or less paraphrased). i'm no longer a Christian yet I recognize the actuality in many Jesus' sayings and teachings. reality isn't so honestly gained.

I like this ? I think it is a awesome one and is a good reminder to re evaluate ourselves.

I believe that there is nothing in this world worth loosing your soul for. Loosing your soul sounds to me like spiritual death. I think that would be unimaginable.

I am of the Mormon religion. I also believe the level of loosing your soul is determined by your ACCOUNTABILITY. If you dont know Gods law or what he expects you to adhear to how would you be in condemnation.

Hope this helps.

God Bless

It is a very good question, one that everyone should ask themselves. Jesus gives the answer to this question in his message and God speaks about it through out the Bible.
You should give the way to keep your soul from being lost. Somewhere in the Bible it says that we should give up our old lifestyle and pick up our cross to follow Jesus (somewhere in Mark). We have to do what God calls us to do, we are saved by His grace through our faith in Jesus Christ. (I took that from Ephesians 2:8-9.)

A lemur is generally, any primitive primate except the tarsier; more specifically, any of the indigenous primates of Madagascar. In the broad sense, the term lemur applies not only to the typical lemurs (family Lemuridae) but also to the avahis, sifakas, indri, and aye-aye of Madagascar, in addition to the lorises, potto, and bush babies of Southeast Asia and Africa.

That's rather contingent on there being such a thing as a 'soul' in the first place, which would seem not to be the case.

In context it was a rhetorical question. The point was that it doesn't profit him at all.
