If you upgrade Windows ME to XP WITHOUT registering the Windows ME; and then registered the XP upgrade. Would you still be prompted to register the ME after 30 days? I'm not planning to do that--I'm merely curious.

no if you do a fresh install of xp then me will be gone, you will only have to register xp. i tried to do 2 pcs with my disk xp and they will not accept the same product key and the second one is sitting on the floor with 20 days left to register, and i downloaded many product keys that they say will work, they dont! so if you do this make sure u have 1 that you are sure works otherwise u could lose your me and be out of luck!!
