Hello. I purchased a black on black 2007 Elantra SE about a month ago. I got the upgraded heated seats and moonroof. I traded in a 2005 Hyundai xg350. The car gets great gas mileage, and is pretty quiet inside. The stock sound system is great, and I love the aux-in for connecting any mp3 player that you have. The materials used inside seem to be of great quality. I also purchased a cargo tray to help keep the trunk clean, and mud guards. The total cost was just over $20,000 after taxes, but after my down payment and trade, I only had to pay a few thousand extra. The car is now classified as a midsize, and has more interior/ cargo room than corolla. Overall the car is great, and I don't see much they can improve on. Good luck!

Hyundai has steadily been improving its quality and design. However, first-year cars statistically have higher problem rates. I would take this into consideration, as the 2007 Hyundai Elantra is a complete redesign. In my opinion, recent Hyundai cars are average to above average in quality.

To the person who said Hyundai is not a dependable car....you're nuts.
Hyundai is rated as the number 3 car in the world for dependability, behid only Porshe and Lexus.
As far as the Elantra goes....The 2007 is an outstanding product. 5-star crash rated
Excellent gas milage (36 highway)
and Car and Driver called it "a class above both Civic and Carolla."
match that
not to mention you can buy one for $13,395

It has some good reviews. Hyundai has come a long way with reliability and has left the crap to Kia, their sister company. Maintain it at it will be fine.

Excellent choice. They rank very high, and many auto critics rank them higher than Honda or Toyota.
God Bless You,

My dad has that car. It's great for the price. Korean cars are really great. Their prices are bound to go up.
