I adore both my parents, and i dont think that one deserves the honor over the other. Would i be good to do something different?

If this is something that would make you happy, it can be very beautiful to see both parents walking their children down the aisle. What about having the groom have his parents escort him down the aisle as well, so that they are also included.

I've definitely been to weddings where both parents walk the bride down the aisle. I don't know what religion you are, but in Jewish weddings, it's traditional for both the bride and the groom to walk down the aisle with their parents to either side of them, if that helps at all.

personally I think it's the way it should be done...both parents (if possible) should walk their respective "children" down the aisle as a symbol of BOTH parents giving their children away to the person they are marrying.

ever notice how it's usually the father that stays out of the marriage but the MOTHER IN LAWS that always interfere? think about it....

I had both my parents walk me down the aisle and it was so wonderful. I was the first one in my family to ever do it. My family loved it. It's original and special. Go for it.

There is nothing wrong for having both of your parents walk you down the aisle, go for it. its your wedding, and if others don't like it to bad. My neice had both of her parents walk her down the aisle when she got married. congratulations.

I think that would be great! It's your wedding there is no reason you can't do what you want. Just make sure the isle is wide enough to fit three people, especially if your gown is poofy.

I think its a great idea especially if they both had a big impact in your life. That way they will both get to give you away to your new hubby.

it depends if you have good parents

sometimes you don't have a father
or you have a mother that doesn't deserve
that honor,
then you choose your best friend,
