No. The last thing we want is for the police to enforce only the laws they choose. It is not their role to be warrior/philosophers to spend half their time reading Aristotle and the other half training on the assault course.
Don't take it out on the police. If the law was changed tomorrow they would then be defended your right to get high just as vigorously as they are opposing it today.
Only your politician is to blame.
