So I have been reading some of these questions and some people say that excersing of the morning is better and gets the metabolism going. Well...I am definately not a morning person...very grouchy and irritable. I don't think I could get up an hour early (go ahead and say I'm lazy) but what kinds of excersises could i do that would be like 15-25 minutes? I mean some that might increase metabolism? I know its not a long time. Plus I can't go for a walk...I live in a trailer park, and I don't llike to walk by myself and it will be dark. So something in the house...also I am going to do the rest of my work-out after school...I know I sound retarded just so you all won't have to tell me. So any suggestions?

I have tried short crunches. Do them in reps so you won't give up easily, and try eating a banana every morning and 2gl of water. Good Luck.

Your metabolism increases when you exercise enough that you break a sweat. I recommend doing crunches. I do fifty a day and I stay in relatively good shape. Also if you go to a school with a track then you could run during the day at a place that is familiar to you.
And no, you don't sound retarded. Many people have trouble sticking to any exercise routine but if you stick to it you could lose as much as ten pounds!. I started seeing results in a matter of days and who knows you could lose even more than that. Well good luck. Hope this helps

i know exacly what you're saying! Getting enough sleep is important for your body, so stay in bed:) Do DO stuff in the p.m though. I dont think morning excerises increase your metabolism more than another time of day, but i know that its best to excersise before you eat a meal though. Eat whole grains and veggies and fruit, bran cereal ect. to boost your metabolism. good luck

Pilates in the morning. It is relaxing and effective, a great way to begin the day if you're up to it. Winsor Pilates makes a great 20 minute workout dvd you can probably purchase online. You should do some cardio in the evening.
