I like my V6 Touareg! It gets about 15 to 16 mpg city and around 24 to 26 mpg hwy. Despite the fact that it's only a V6 it still has plenty of power for towing not to mention she will get up and go! Additionally it's AWD system is outstanding.
Lot's of bang for the buck as far as I'm concerned although since it does share many of the same components and is manufactured on the same line as the Porsche Cayenne brand new it's not that affordable to alto of people, because even a basic Touareg with some of the extra bells and whistles can out-price a Cayenne as mine did. But there are great deals on pre-owned ones out there. Check them out I think you will be impressed.
Take care

why not evaluate a jeep grand cherokee? in case you fairly need overall performance additionally they have an srt sort. the two motor vehicle and driving force and generic mechanics have those days examined this jeep and that they actually relatively enjoyed it. the jeep will value 1000's, even 10's of 1000's, under all of the different autos you record, and could additionally value 1000's of greenbacks much less to maintain over its existence. to boot, there are chrysler sellers everywhere, some thing that cannot be mentioned for those different manufacturers. i won't be able to talk to the reliability, yet once you do prefer upkeep on those unique foreign places manufacturers, and you spot the charges of the areas for those issues, to not point out the labour value of double that of yank sellers ... properly, i wish that there is no background of heart ailment on your loved ones. think of heavily concerning to the jeep grand cherokee ... a minimum of take one for a attempt force. i think of you would be very pleasantly shocked. sam

If you want something big that is going to be efficient and have balls, you'll probably want to go with a diesel. Todays diesels are just as quiet as gas, run cleaner, more reliable, and on average 40% more efficient that gas engines.
Also I have a F250 Diesel (ext. cab, 8ft bed, 18mpg) that I run on pure vegitable oil if you're looking to save alot of money on commuting. If you're looking for information on this subject try http://www.greasecar.com or a search engine.
