Ok, I know that in the real world you'd end up in prison, etc. But my now ex boyfriend did some things that would so warrant it, at least in a hypathetical reality. Has anyone else felt this way? Is it wrong for the idea to bring a smile to my face?

It's not wrong for the idea to bring a smile to your face. I have a certain ex-boyfriend who also happened do some things that would warrant a castration as well! It's been nearly 3 years since we split and I still find the thought of his castration quite humorous.

I think the real question is, why do you date losers? Quit complaining about your bad choice and get on with life, because it's short. Wasting it with cute jerks is just going to make you bitter.
