the wednesday announcement was nixed but it may be officially announced as early as tuesday march 27th, I just hope that they keep most of the PrideFC management, except the matchmaker, no more freak matches, and would be exciting to see more UFC fighters enter PrideFC tournaments (this year is lightweight so BJ Penn, Sean Sherk, Spencer Fisher, Tyson Griffin, Hermes Franca, Melvin Guillard and Joe Stevenson all would be great additions to the tournament)

We need both. We can't let UFC have a monopoly, there are quality fighters all over the world and we can't let one ORG be in control of it all. Competition is healthy for the sport. What we need is these super orgs to get together and start fighting each other once a year.

That's the rumor.
We won't be sure until tomorrow, when there is supposed to be an official announcement.
