Yes I do. And I can't remember the last an egg cracked using this method.
Eggs that crack when boiled is caused by the the heat rising too quickly and building up of pressure in the air pocket inside the The air can escape as the egg heats and its contents expand too quickly.
In order to prevent that, Start off with "cold" water
enough to cover all the eggs completely.
Make sure all the eggs lay on their sides with a little space between them. Bring the water to a boil
When the boil for about a minute and a half, turn the stove off. Let the water cool with the eggs in it.
After 20 minutes run them under cold tap water and peel. The air in the pocket will have escaped slowly enough in order that the eggs did not crack.

Oh, boy, a question from the EASTER BUNNY!
It's 'really easy' to 'boil eggs' without cracking them ... line your pot with a towel, set the eggs in 'gently,' add 1/4 cup salt, and fold the towel over the top. Then add COLD water, bring them to a boil, let them boil for about 5 minutes, then turn them off and let them 'cool' for about five minutes ... then, with the towel still 'wrapped around the eggs' put the pot in the sink and run 'cold water' full blast over the eggs. That way you still may get 'one or two' cracked eggs, but you can do 'several dozen' at one time, and they'll all 'peel well.'

Make a tiny hole in the fat end of the egg. Use a pin or the end of a sharp knike. Eggs contain an air pocket. When boiled, the air expands and cracks the shell. If you let this air out (via the hole) the egg will not crack.

Put a pin prick in the round end of the egg before you put it in the pan. This releases the pressure in the egg. Put the eggs in cold water then bring to the boil, then turn the heat down to a gentle simmer, there's less chance of your eggs being bashed about in bubbling water.

a pair of issues... be certain you have a huge adequate pot that the eggs won't hit one yet another while they roll around. Get the water boiling and then placed the eggs in softly with a spoon. they'll arise and bounce around slightly while they're cooking so as that they want room to pass. a reliable extreme boil will save them moving gently around. it many times takes approximately 10 to twelve minutes.

Bring them up to room temperature first.
An alternative is to bring them up to temperature by running them under the hot tap water, beginning when the water is cold.
Bring rapidly to the boil and simmer for 3.5 minutes. That is long enough to soft boil one egg.
If doing more eggs you will have to adjust the time to suit.
Drain under cold water to halt the cooking process. That will also prevent the dark ring forming around the yolk
Some people say to add vinegar to the water but I have found it isn't necessary.

Bring your eggs to a boil, put a top on the pan and take off of heat. Let them sit 15 to 20 minutes. Then peel. They will be perfect and not overcooked.

place the eggs in gently with a spoon in just enough water to cover them make sure the bubbles don't look like rapids while they're boiling. Putting enough eggs in to fill the pan so they don't move around works, too.
