That's what's so special about it. XP SP2 is the only moderately stable Windoze system available.

Yeah, it was absolutely the worst system ever put our by MicroSoft -- I waited for it to come out to get a new computer -at the time I was still using 3.1, skipped right over 95 and 98 and got me a brand new ME. NOTHING ran right on it. EVERYTHING needed a patch. They fixed some of the problems in the 2nd Edition, but it was still terrible. XP solved most of the remaining problems. We still have the old ME as a back-up computer- it's good for IM and doing homework, but that's about all.

You're right ! My friend bought his computer in Aug. '01 and I bought mine a few months later. He got ME and I got XP. When he bought an XP CD to update it, it took 3 other disks and a whole afternoon. Get away from that horrible operating system. Run man, run !

Question should be...Why are you still using Windows ME? Go out and get an upgrade disk.

Omg...ME is the worst thing that I had to ever deal with. It wouldn't even let me update. It was like "NO! Love me! PLEASE!" But I outsmarted the computer and got XP.
