Okay, so I have found myself in a dicey situation. I am and have been really crushing on my best friend's boyfriend for the past 3 months. I've tried not talking to him, I've tried moving on, but I just can't. I would force myself to stop if she liked him, but she doesn't. She doesn't care for him in the least, just doesn't want to break up with him. He is head over heels for her, but they are so wrong for each other. She refuses to go out with him unless it is in a big group so she can avoid him. He tries to be with her at school, but she shrugs him off and hides behind other friends (I have a tendency to move becaue I want to see him happy). I want him to be happy, and I don't think that is possible when he's with emily. I've tried talking to them both about it, but they either change the subject or admit that they don't know. (It wasnt quite a direct front; I don't want to scare/ offend them). I love emily, but this is a dysfunctional relationship. Any advice?

Maybe you can write him a letter, explaining to him how much you care about him and want to see him happy. She is obviously just wanting to have a boyfriend to show off and that's not nice. Talk to him privately and make him understand why you are wanting him to see through her. It's hard to do when someone is head over heals in love, but it's gotta be done.

If that doesn't work, just let the relationship go where it's gonna go and hope he can come to his senses soon. Be there for him and just be patient with him.

I understand what you are tryin to say, you really love him and that's good. Emily is your bestfriend so first thing you will do is confront her not them and tell her what is really wrong and what's her purpose for not breaking up with him. There's nothing wrong in asking her. Time will come that your friends boyfriend will feel and see that what he is doing is wrong and i think after you've done your part its time for you to move on for yourself...: )
