I've been to a wedding on Tybee Island on the coastal shores of Georgia and it was beautiful! We were all barefoot!
Since I live in south Ga I'm familiar with the Gulf Coast. I wouldn't suggest Panama City because of all the highrise condos that are there now, it's hard to even see the beach from the street. Seaside would be a nice spot, St George Island would be a fantastic place also. I've stayed on St George and we had a very nice beach house that was right on the beach, nice big deck and open double carport that you could utilize. Destin is beautiful too. Mexico Beach is great. It depends on where you are and want to go really, there are so many more private, uncommercialized little towns up and down the gulf.
As far as the wedding gown? I'd go simple and elegant, something comfortable.
Sunset would be phenominal, the pics would turn out great! Just make sure you check with the weather channel to see what time the sun will be setting that day and plan accordingly.
Best wishes for a stunning wedding!!

There is a little town on the panhandle called Seaside and I think it would be perfect for your wedding. Its in between Panama City and Destin, FL. With a beach wedding it is more casual so you can wear a pretty flowy white skirt and white tank top to a tea length more formal dress. I would stay away from long flowy touch the ground dresses. I have always liked the no shoes idea because if you wear flip flops it will kick sand up on your dress... The only thing about a sunset wedding is the possibility that the sunset would not be particularly good but it would be some cooler.

I work at the Islander in Destin Florida. We are always having weddings on your beach. We also have a party room for the reception. If your interested call 1-800-477-8837
Its a great place for a wedding. All the rooms are 2 bedroom and 2 bath. You can also go to www. islander-resort.com to look at the unit photos.
Give it a try. Congratulations on your wedding.
You can still wear any dress you like, and the shoes could be sandels since it would be on the beach. We are located on the gulf of mexico. You also see the sunset.

I live in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida, and there are beautiful areas here to have a wedding/honeymoon. Go to the Chamber of Commerce web sites for the following cities.
Sarasota, Davis Island, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Naples, Fort Myers, Marco Island, Siesta Key.

unfortunately to do wedding like that,
a women needs to feel comfortable....
usually,
if she has weight problems,
and needs to loose the "stubborn" weight,
in some place,
she needs to go under "the knife,"
UNFORTUNATELY!!!!
and that takes
a lot of time, pain and anxiety,
so that type of a wedding
is not for everyone
unless you're Anna Nicole,
and have a lot of money!!!
I'm very firm in my opinions,
and NOTHING in the word
will change that,
because I know\
what I WANT from life,
and I feel like a women
110%!!!!
