hmmm

well if you have slavery you dont have liberty...at least not for all...um.....hmmm.....i suppose we need to redefine what "moral virtue" is.

What about the case in which the moral virtue includes being against the idea of slavery? I think the statement was made as a pondering question and is not truth in any form.

i do not agree with Willie Drake..hey..i`m allowed to. I think the quote should stop at the first moral virtue. I don`t think that it is true.

... its impossible to have liberty without sound moral values ... im lost on the whole slavery issue though .. wats that all about ..

The statement itself is obviously a sarcastic exaggeration, but it may be true in spirit \(to the most ruthless and cynical of folk)

to some extent...

but with the way the world is going...I'd have to say we just all have to be responsible for ourselves and make our future and existence. The only one you can truly control is yourself.
