My dad took out a loan for me in his name. He is the only person on the loan. I make the payments every month. I mailed a check in for the payment, but due to an error I had made the check was returned unpaid. Without contacting me they sent a letter to my dad telling him the check was returned NSF and also included a copy of my check. Can they leaglly send my father a copy of the check even tho the loan is in his name? Don't they have to tell me the check was unpaid. I thought they could only say the account was past due since my check bounced. Can they legally send him the copy of my NSF check?

The payment on HIS loan was returned NSF. They returned the check to THEIR customer. YOU are not their customer. YOU have no legal standing with them.
