There is some minimal sweating under the arm pits but it's the panting that really helps the dog lose body heat. My dachshund gets very damp smelly armpits in the summer and we have to use powder to help her keep dry!

to cool down they pant ,they sweat through there paws i now most people think that dogs stink so they must sweat all over there body but this is not true, they smell just normal its scent glads for other dogs to smell them it just we notice it more .
