Here are some ab exercises that might help:
The plank -get in a push-up posistion, but on your forearms instead of hands and hold for 45 seconds to 2 minutes

The side lift (im not sure if that's exactly what it's called though)-lay on your side prop yourself up on you forearm/ elbow then lift your butt off the ground, but keep your body straight. Hold for 45 seconds to 2 minutes the switch sides.

Leg lifts -lay on your back and lift your legs up and down, but don't touch the floor (stay about 6 inches off the ground). do this 3 sets of 15- 25 reps.

6 inches- lay on your back and lift you legs up six inches and hold for as long as you can

There's also different versions of crunches to do, too.

The crunches you do will strengthen the ab muscles; however, fat cannot be burned off unless you are exercising at a cardio-pace. You need to run that off, the crunches will only provide a little help in removing fat. I would suggest running (or stairmaster, etc.), and then right after do your crunches. Worked well for me!

Crunches dont do a thing for losing the fat. They only tone the muscles behind the fat.

Cardio exercise - it tones the entire body, and with time you will get rid of the extra body fat (not just in your stomach) and see the tone abs underneath.
