The ones who would change Korean Music forever ...Pop, Rock, Hip Hop and more were Seo Tai-ji Boys! in 1980s to 1990s bringing whole new evolutionary music that most haven't heard that came from America of course, they have inspired a whole alot of korean artists such as Shinhwa, H.O.T, 1TYM, Fly To The Sky, Baby V.O.X and certainly more in the 1998! that made something big!

What kind of music do you mean? If your question is about whether Korean has their own music of not, I could very well say they have. Korean music, for example 'Pansori' originated in Korea long time ago.
