"play the field until you strike gold with a girl that puts out. Because before you know it you are going to end up married like me and you are not going to have that option anymore. Enjoy your youth and have fun (safely with protection) and try not to hurt anybodys feelings in the process. Be slick. She wants to remain a virgin, respect that. Don't harass her about it. Just seek other young willing women that will grant your wishes. Just be safe and don't hurt other peoples feelings like a said before. Good luck"

I think he is a good forward thinking father. Your son needs to have a period of experimenting. He will not end up with his current g/f long term though he should not cheat on her. If she does not want to sleep with him yet good for her but then he has a right to move on if her feels ready. You only have your teens once. I had so much sex during that stage in my life and I think most guys were having even more. I learnt a lot and I feel confident now. I can tell guys who experimented a lot when they were in their teens as they generally make much better lovers in their late 20s. Your husband wants the best for his son. Just don't encourage your son to cheat on anyone. Plenty of both sexes what no strings sex in their teens.

to be honest, if the kid may just want to have sex and get a bit of experience. If the g/f doesn't want to have sex fine, but he has to decide if he wants the g/f or if he wants to break up and have all the sex he wants and then find a g/f. I don't think that your husband is being very nice. It sounds like he is telling the kid to keep the g/f and go out and have sex with everyone else until she wants to. Thats not good. The kid should break up with her and do what he wants. That is just encouraging a young man to not be loyal to his partner or women in general. I am wondering if we are all misinterpreting this info. and your hubby meant for him to break up then go have sex. If he meant do both that is very wrong. Take care Heather

It's actually good advice. I mean most kids that age are having tons of sex anyway. At least he is taking the girls feelings to heart and trying to teach his son respect for women. Most girls that age are whores and will put out gladly so why not hook up with them until you find one that's worth hanging on too instead of hurting the good girls.

he perhaps did not "sow his wild oats" before he was married and wonders what other ladies would be like --- its difficult to predict if he is contemplating being unfaithful --- i suspect not --- he is just expressing some unfulfilled desires and double standards
