Go, have a good time. If you don't like talking with everyone and catching up...leave.

I went to my 15 year and my sister went to our 10, 20 & 25 (I know, I'm old ;-). If you have no expectations you won't be disappointed.

At 10 years you'll see a lot of changes from your class. Divorces, pregnancies and "stories". Some do a good job of being full of themself and other's are their same nice selves.

If you go to each reunion, it will be well worth the effort. It wasn't until our last, 30th, that I felt the courage to talk to everyone again. Now, I"m wishing I'd gone to the others. Now, many classmates are no longer with us. Its the saddest news in the world to get an e-mail from the reunion commttee telling you about another death. Just bring reality back.

Life moves so fast. Stop time for just a minute. Go to your reunion. It will bring back great memories, reunite friends and maybe be a lasting memory of someone you'll wish you'd seen if you didn't go.

Never went to a High School Reunion and never went back ... but ...

That is mostly because this Woman chose a Non-Traditional Career (Military), obtained her UGrad and Grad Degrees in non-traditional subjects, and just did everything atypical for a female of my age.

So as far as having anything in common (even when I was in school with the class ... it was atypical since my parents were two decades older than the peers' parents, and my own father was a Disabled WWII Paraplegic), there really was nothing there in the first place. I had my eyes on the GOAL -- a good career, independent life, and to own my own home ... all of which I've been able to achieve (and yes, I do have my own Pensions (yes, plural) since I worked very hard indeed.

Hello,
yes, I have been to a high school reunion. It was no big deal I hated it.... They all put on they were all that and they were ****. Out of all the preppy and popular girls and guys I was the only one that had a proffession. They were nothing... So you should go and just be yourself, because 90% of them will be faking who they are. So just have a good time and if you get bored as I did find your friends you hung out with and go find a bar and have a blast.. That was more fun than that reunion..... Hope this helps no need to be scared.

Take Care,
ICE

yes I went to my 30 year reunion,it was ok but then again my graduating class was a boring one and at reunion most thought they were better than the rest,if you feel comfortable enough to go then by all means go if not don't,wish I hadden gone to mine it was really dullsville to me,everyone but me won a door prize, now that's just not fair at all.
