Well there's python, which is quite good, much like chicken. Monkey meat, they are bony animals without very much meat, but cooked in a soup or better yet, a stew, quite nice. Hippo is something to avoid, rather like eating cardboard. Octopus prepared as in a shrimp cocktail is quite good. Fried flying ants (termites) are something that I don't think I'd try again. Goat is pretty good, I like it stewed more than roasted.
The worst meal, must be Mom's tuna noodle casserole.

There is a delicacy in the Philippines called "balut" (baloot) that is a duck embryo still in the eggshell. You carefully crack the shell and drink the juice first, then open up the shell and pop the embryo into your mouth, tiny bones, feathers, and all. Then chew and enjoy. This "food" was used as one of the challenges on the TV show "Fear Factor". Sorry, I never tried it myself.

Have you tried dog meat? I've tasted bat and snake too. here in the philippines we have lots of weird food - well at least weird for Western tastes. We have balut - duck egg where embryo has developed to chick already. egg is steamed and chick is eaten whole. we also have a dish called dinuguan where we use blood of pig to thicken the sauce.

I've had alligator, squid, and the more "tame" varieties like buffalo, caribou, elk, bear, and deer meat. They were all fine. But I couldn't chew octopus tentacle--it was like chewing a rubber ball, and the taste was void...very, very gross!
