How am I supposed to scrunch my hair with hair serum to make it so that it is wavy? Any pictures or detailed explanations on how to do that? I tried this morning and it looked.. horrible. xD

What is more important over product is how you dry it.

You should use a diffuser.

It is that funny round disc with holes and nubbys on the end that you put on the end of your blow dryer.

This will distribute the heat evenly across you hair while it dries without having it fly all over the place.

Finger comb your hair as well.

Towel dry and and use your fingers to separate.

I just got a permanent and my hairdresser taught me how to 'scrunch' my hair so that it 'looks good' ... just 'gather the hair up' so that you have a 'little bit' in the middle of your hand, with the 'serum' or 'curling stuff' in it and then close your hand and sort of 'wiggle' the hair around inside ... sort of 'close then open a little and move it and close and open a little and move it' ... it takes some practice, but if you do it AT NIGHT enough you'll be able to do it 'really well' in the morning. The thing about 'scrunching' your hair, though, is that you CAN'T if you don't have some 'curls or waves' in it to begin with ... so your answer may be to go to the 'salon' and get a good 'perm' first ...

i just swirl my hair around my finger as I dry it. Sometimes I just roll my hair a bunch of little buns around my hair. I finish getting ready and about 20 minutes later I dry them for a minute then take them out. I separate the curls and then I have wavy hair.

you want to use some kind of gel or wax-gel. a dryer with a diffuser helps, and also scrunching with paper towels is effective
