You do not have a case and you will not recieve one dollar because you did not take your "baby" to the vet. You can not just tell them " I fed my dog the food that was recalled and he died" you need to submit proof and as we all know from reading your last question you have none.
My advice as to whatyou should do, since you asked, is to re-home any dogs that you have left and do not ever get anymore.

I am very sorry for you loss, call menufoods to lodge a complaint also file a complaint with the FDA
http://www.fda.gov/bbs/topics/NEWS/2007/NEW01590.html
There will be compensations but may not cover the whole bill, it might be better to first see what compensation they offer before considering a lawsuit
As far as suing even in class action suits the awards are small, for example rimadyl the complainents won and recieved $1000 each, as far as the courts go pet animals are grouped in much the same as livestock so the award is for value not for suffering or your personal attachment.
Sorry : ( I happen to know one of the claimants in the rimadyl class action suit), and I know the money came no where close to what she paid, the only satisfaction in the entire case was that the the company that makes the product had to list "could result in death as one of the side effects on the product insert and that a vet is supposed to provide a handout to pet owner whenever, rimadyl is prescribed but sadly vet are not doing this despite the ruling
To make matters worse
As far as menufoods goes, I have heard that they were having financial problems already prior to the recall, the recall will probably force them into bankruptcy, so if they do offer any compensation you may be wise just to grab whatever they offer, as they may be , out of business before a courtcase ever rolls around which could leave you with nothing if you turn down their offer and instead proceed with a lawsuit.
I am not telling you what you should do, just giving you information to consider
Now that I read who you are, the advice is for others that have legimate complaints no way did you run up $6000 in vet bills in 20 hours, you cannot claim all vet bills related to raising a dog til they sick and died, only the cost of treating the dog for the kidney failure bloodwork, some meds and fluid replacement does not add up to over $6,000, you are nothing more than a scavenger that feeds off their dogs sadly even in death

20 hours ago you did not take the dogs to the vet because you didn't have any money, so how did you get over $6000 in vet bills today? If you had taken your pup to the vet when it first got sick, maybe he would still be alive. To win a case against the pet food company, you would need a necropsy(autopsy) done on your dog to prove he died because of the dog food and not from parvo or something else. You would also need a complete blood workup on the other dogs to prove what is causing them to be ill. If the dog food is proven to be the cause, you would have a case against the dog food company, but would only be able to get the money for the cost of the pup that died and the vet bills. The judge might only give you a partial claim because you waited and did not take the dogs to the vet when they first got sick. If you have $12,000 to spend on a carpet and $500 to pay for a Maltipoo(a mutt), then you can afford to pay for a vet bill when your dog is gravely ill.

I agree with RedOktober, Elena and alapinklady's.
You are either really stupid (you need to spell check by the way) or really greedy for money and are jumping on the bandwagon.
Seriously, it is not even factual that the pet food caused this. No lab results have come back yet blaming the food 100%. So before you jump to conclusions you should get more info on whats going on.
It sounds to me all you care about is money....very sad....I hope for the pups sake that you are not running a puppy mill and have honest love for these poor animals.
If my dogs were dying or died the last thing I would be thinking about is money!!!! Oh and I would have taken my sick dog to the vet AS SOON AS I NOTICED IT WAS SICK!!!! Are you a vet?? No??? Well you should have gone to the vet right away if you care so much!!
Money is not everything and there is such a thing called 'karma'. What goes around comes around!!
If you are trying to scam you can get in a lot of trouble.
My advice : STOP BREEDING DOGS!! There are enough in the world as it is....try visiting your local animal shelter.
Also if you really have to breed dogs because you are greedy and want more dogs in the world to be put down, then maybe you should reconsider breeding an 8 month old CHIHUAHUA. That is TOO YOUNG!!!
Dogs should be nurtured and loved....not used as a way to make money.
And who in their right minds would spend that much on carpet....how many dogs are you breeding anyway??? For that much money to spend on CARPET you must have lots of dogs!! Yep....puppy mill!!! Shame on you.....
SPAY OR NEUTER!!! Thats all I have to say....

You lost your "baby" because you didn't take him to the vet after seeing the symptoms. You watched him suffer all night and didn't even try because you "have no money."
If it were one of my pets I would have gone to one of those check into cash places, or taken out a loan just to pay the bills.
By the way, if you do go to court you can't ask for money for seeing your babies sick, your dog dying and so on and so forth. The law sees Animals as property, not family. If you actually win, you would only be awarded what you paid for the animals. Even then you still have to prove that the animal actually died from the tainted food, not from your negligence. Ask any lawyer, they will tell you the same thing.

While I feel very sad for you poor dogs you allowed to die a slow, painful death while you educated us on your back yard breeding, $12000 carpet, and $600 new dog, you do not deserve any money. I am sure many people on here would love to print out your other question to present to the court should you try to make money off a poor dogs suffering. I would definitely be willing to send information to the courts so they could see you were so concerned for the well-being and health of your dogs...so concerned you allowed then to suffer what appeared to be many hours before "borrowing money from a friend".
You are a horrible person who uses poor defenseless animals to make money. You do not deserve to have pets let alone ever breed.

No you DON'T have a case. You are just trying to get money. It's YOUR fault your "BABY BOY" died. You came on here last night asking for HELP because your "BABY BOY" was vomiting BLOOD on your $12,000 carpet and because he was aggressive. You didn't take ANY advice from us THEN. NOW you go to the VET? After he has ALREADY SUFFERED through the night because you were too SELFISH to take him to the vet THEN?
You do not deserve to own a pet at all. You don't care about them. Hello, you were breeding a 4 year old CHIHUAHUA with an 8 month old CHIHUAHUA.
You say you have no money, you say you LOVE your "BABIES", you say that you love ANIMALS yet you don't take your dog to the vet when he needs to go. You truly make me sick.
Not only are you a PUPPY MILL, a BACKYARD BREEDER, an IRRESPONSIBLE PET OWNER, you are also a SCAMMER.
It's sad you lost your "BABY" but it's YOUR fault because you didn't take him to the VET when symptoms started.
GET A LIFE!
BTW; you better go out and get some bleach. That blood ain't coming out of your precious $12,000 carpet!

If this was a true story, you would not be able to sue, instead you would be locked up for letting your pets suffer, you stupid B*TCH!!!!!

My dog suffered kidney failure at the end of last month and was successfully treated, her vet bills are $2,000. I was feeding her Nutro Natural Canned food. I am wondering what my next step should be, how do i go about finding an attorney? Any help is appreciated.

The first thing you need to do is get every shred of evidence you can - written statements from your vet as to the cause of death, save the bag and receipt of dog food etc...Then contact an attorney.
Sorry about your dogs, that is rough.
