I know this is DIet & Fitness but all the questions I see are about losing weight or getting abs. A lot of them are ''am I the right weight for my height/age?''

No questions about anything else!

What is the point of asking a billion times: ''how can I lose 20 lbs by June?''

First off, most people dont seem to realize their question was probably asked before, especially the "best way to lose weight" questions. They dont do searches to see what answers have showed up before, and therefore, we get the same questions, and I am constantly typing the same answers.

Our society is so focused with being skinny and, especially for guys, nice flat abs. Its a societial thing that the people here are hooked on (lets face it, the ones that dont care aren't going to come into the room worried about it).

I am getting sick of it as well though. Its depressing to see such young girls worried about their weight when they are (or on the boarderline of being) underweight, and young guys (as young as 13 from what I've seen) who are concerned about having a 6 pac when their bodies are only starting to mature.

Sites and boards like these just show all the problems society has, and there are too few who actually care enough to change it.

We're all fat! Seems everyone is consumed with weight and for some, rightfully so. Part of it is what we are told we should look like, but much of it is due to true over-weight people.

When I was in school, there might have been one or two kids that were over weight. Take a look at kids today. Look at adults today! Something is terribly wrong.

Because, we are living in a society where there are more over-weight people than ones who are at their "optimum" weight coupled by the television and media images of only people of the "normal" weight being entitled to happiness(lots of money) and affection (sex).
