Does the dog food recall affect Hills Science Diet ZD?

Ive been on the phone with distributors all week including Hill's Science Diet. None of their food has been tainted but they are taking precautions with all their food that was used with Menu Food products. If you are concerned you can call Hill's and they can tell you more even though the Wheat Gluten is not an ingredient in the ZD foods.

I just found the Hill's website. They say only four varieties
of cat food are being voluntarily recalled.

In general, I understand it's the "gravy" type foods that may
have the suspect wheat gluten.

I'd recently fed my dog a can of Nutro that had the same
product code but a different date code. You need to check
both the product and date code before you worry too much.

Try checking the website for contact numbers. I believe it is the wet food that is being recalled.

As said before, none of the prescription foods were recalled.

No. It does not include dry food, and since z/d does not have wheat gluten even the canned is okay.
