depends on his tone of voice. if he sounded friendly or jokey then he just was curoius. If he seemed sad or anxious or angry then he might still have feelings for you. the best thing to do if he did sound sad is to just tell him yes it is. Dont go into big explainantions on how wonderful the guy is and stuff. if he sounded friendlyy then you can tell him about your fiance

It means your ex noticed that you're engaged...and you didn't tell them that you got engaged. So they're asking because they're curious, but also because they're trying to figure out why you hadn't told them. It means nothing else.
