I was missing alot of 3 and 4 footers lately so i've been practicing with a little wrist pop and it's been working. Is this a bad habit to get into?

If you do it exactly the same way, every time, yes, do it. However, that's not very likely, but neither is repeating the conventional, stiff-wristed, method exactly the same way every time. Putting well comes from confidence and if you feel more confident putting the short putts with a little wrist pop, then by all means wrist pop. Watch any of the older pro tournament and they all putted with wrist movement but the firm wrist method became popular and that's what preached now. I think the biggest contribution to putting better is the improvement in putters in the last twenty years. If you can't find a putter that fits your style then the problem isn't the putter. Pop,putt and enjoy.

When putting wrists should be as steady (still) as possible. Its just basically a motion of arms going back and forth. If your missing those 3 and 4 footers maybe you are lifting your head too soon or you could just have very little confidence so you should just practise them until you are confident in making them.

Conventional wisdom is no. Having said that, there are some teachers that will tell you a little wrist action on long puts may help get the ball a little closer to the whole. Whatever works for you is OK.

Bad habit. Putting is all in the shoulder movement and the keeping the arms steady. wrists shouldn't be involved at all. unless of course you are playing tiger woods golf 07 on ps2 or ps3!

Terrible habit. As you putt picture your wrists and shoulders and arms as a triangle. As you putt simply move the triangle.

i was taught to use a little wrist because i was punching the ball to much, and generate too much back spin.
so i think it depence what kind of mistake you are making. if you are missing left and right then no wrist, but if you are punching and not getting rolls then use your wrist. if its a combination of both.... then get a trustworthy teaching pro.
there is no one way to teach golf, you have to make both mistakes in order to find that balance.

in short distances like that yes it can be a nasty habit and one hard to break, however on much longer putts I believe it is expected to have a little wrist bend.

Yeah it will make you turn the putter just a little bit and they will go left and right. It is harder to control the ball so stick to no wrist bend. They will be straiter and way easier to control.

Is a bad habit but if you are getting better. I don't see it as a problem.

Technically you shouldn't. But Jack Nicklaus used his wrists in his putting and he was a great clutch putter. If you are sinking more puts than I say use it.
