Eat the ones with the most water-weight. They fill you up.

Grapes, for example.

Potatoes, carrots, and parsnips are all great fruits and vegetables to eat during a diet. Avoid all other fruits/veggies.

Fruits - Grapefruit will help you lose weight! But these are good for you too - apples, grapes, oranges, peaches, watermelon, strawberries, cranberries, and blueberries.

I'd skip the banana.

Vegetables - Lettuce, cabbage, bell peppers, brocolli, tomatoes, spinach, celery and others.

The only thing I think that would be bad is probably advocado.

Hope this helps!

celery, cucumbers, carrots, onions, lettuce, tomatoe, and peppers are good veggies to eat on a diet, most of them take more calories to burn them then to eat them and the others have very little calories...as for fruits, melons, apples, kiwis, grapes, lemons, grapefruits, oranges...any fruit is good on a diet..at the moment i'm on a diet where i eat only natural foods kind of..i let myself slip a few times but for the most part i just eat fruits and veggies and meat and i have lost about 6 pounds in the last week...also, it is VERY VERY important to drink lots of water..also some things to eat that are low in calories but filling...get bouillon cubes..you can drink 2 cups of chicken broth from the cubes for as little as 15 calories..good luck =]

Strawberries are very good, I 'd stay away from oranges and bananas. Although they have a lot of vitamins in them, they are not to eat when on diet.

As for veggies, I'd go with bell peppers.

any really. and strict diets aren't good for you! Each fruit and vegetable offers some nutritional value unique to its variety, so you should be eating a little of as many as possible

Depends on what kind of diet your on. Or rather, what the goals of your diet are.

Berries and grapes are FULL of antioxidants and are very, very good for you.

Other fruits and veggies (like celery, carrots, asparagus, etc.) take more energy to digest than they provide in calories. They are "highly thermogenic."

Others, like avacodo, olives, etc., are full of fat (good for you fat), and are an excellent source for meeting fat needs.

So....since it sounds like you're looking for the foods that take more energy to digest than you get from eating them, here's a list of "negative calorie" foods:
