You have to keep away from him and keep yourself busy..and dont allow yourself to think about him..you will get over him but it will take time.

First of all you should stop sleeping with him, this 'break up sex' will do nothing for you but crush your confidence as he is simply using you for a quickie. If he still loved you then you would be together now, so dont kid yourself, you deserve better than this. He doesnt deserve to still be in your life let alone be getting sex by manipulating you into believing he loves you. Try to get out there and meet new people, as this will help you to recover, but spend as many evenings as you like watching soppy romances and crying into ice cream if you need to! The best thing you can do to get over him is to stop seeing him, because the longer you keep him in the life, the longer it will take you to be happy again.

If you can't stop having these little accidental sex trysts with him, you're in big trouble. He won't even have respect for you - he'll just know you are available for sex. Never mind getting accidentally pregnant - you'll be in such a boatload of trouble, you'll never stop regretting it. You say you can't have him anyway - that will never change. You're still around because he's familiar and you're comfortable with him. It's not easy to let go. It's normal to still think about him - if you didn't we'd wonder about you.
Remove yourself completely from his life - no more hook ups. You'll only feel bad about it afterward. Move on and know that time will make it easier. Now if the time to reconnect with friends and family. Start a new project.
