I always have trouble with fonts and animation when transferring slideshows from one computer to another. Is there any way to save as read-only or something so I don't have to use my brother's computer to make all the fonts Windows-acceptable? Thanks!

Try just using standard fonts that are on both types of computers. You can also save it as a "PowerPoint Show" instead of a "Presentation" and that should lock it, but I think you still need to use the same fonts otherwise those will get messed up. If you need to use a certain font, just bring the font file along with you and install it before opening your presentation.
