I've been on Zoloft for about a month and so far haven't had any side effects. However, some have just started to occur. My doctor said this happens sometimes, in that the side effects don't occur until you're on the drug for about a month. I was just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them and if they went away.

as you take the medication longer and longer the side effects subside. if you still have problems talk to your doc about another antidepressant or another medication that can assist with the side effects. good luck

Not only the side effects apear after one month of such drug administration, But also its actual and desired effect...
Sertraline and other anxiolytic and antidepressant medications tend to be be accumulated in the body and be released so regularly into effect area and also excreted by the kidney, also it can be stored in the body fat, making its side effect delayed to match a specific concentration...
I can say also, and repeat that, the side effects of a medication can apear after the appearance of the desired effect, Actually its consedered as a prolonged desired effect.... Do not worry, that is normal...

It depends on the person, the dosage etc... If you didn't notice the side effects at first I don't know why you would start to have them now. Now is the time that the Zoloft should be starting to work on your depression symptom's.

IMO, get off that drug asap. I was on it and it actually made my condition worse. I went crazy, so to speak.
