Just ask him, believe me us men get as scared as you if not more. Call him, and say something like "I'm really nervous to ask you this, but I'd like to go to the Dance with you".
Then come back to Yahoo Answers and ask us what to wear.

Yes and No the reason is because wait a day if he doesn't ask you tomorrow the next day wear some thing nice and let him notice you if he doesn't then ask him remember wear something nice when yo do.

i say go for it. what's the worst that will happen? he will tell you no. and if that happens, then go with your friends. i'm sure you'll have a good time regardless. but dont let anyone tell you that a girl can't ask a guy - i have asked a guy before to a dance. it shows that you are independent and strong-willed. i say, go for it girl!! =]

HECK YES!!! so ask him the worst thing that could happen is that he could be an idiot and say no, if he does just ask another guy, or go with your friends (it could be fun) and you nvr know if he's waiting for you to ask him out.

yeah, just ask! he might just be waiting for you to ask him. you never know ;). the worst that could happen is that he would say no; but i would suggest asking him either over the phone or on an IM

you know what, just suck it up tighten up you skirt, walk over there now and ask him first of all that is sooooo hot, to be asked by a girl to do anything! second of all if it compelled you enough to write about it it is enough to make you regret it later on, I passed a lot of chances like that up in my lifetime, that I kick myself in the head all the time because I found out that they liked me back, years later

i say just ask him. if he's a loser and says no or says "i'll think about it" and doesnt give you an answer right away then move on, i'm sure there are other guys. but go for it, hopefully everything turns out well!

Definately!!! If you want something you have to go for it... don't be afraid to ask because i bet you're beautiful and he would be crazy not to say yes... i'm a guy and we kinda sorta feel bad saying no sometimes so if he doesn't have a date you should definately ask him

go for it.. not gonna know till you try.... and if you want.. you can be creative about it like writing a "will you go to the dance with me".. with the little boxes that say yes or no and put it in his locker or something
