shes knows she's insecure she is seeing a counsellour but still thinks theres hope after saying what hes saideg i want to be friends, i need a clean slate, i love you but am not in love with you, if you found someone else id be happy for you, i dont respect you and you've hurt me for the last time i cant do this anymore. i have told her i think it is over but she has this hope there is something there. thay have been together for 14months he was a nice guy but now hes done this to her. she did put=sh him away and she knows it but any advice on what to tell her as ive listedned to her for 10+hrs about this whole matter and i cant seem to get through to her. do you think its over or do you think there is hope? if you want to read my other message is under- Best friends fiance problem?i lost for more answers. help please any guys with opinions would be great as you should know what hes on about thanks

I think it over. She has to move on, REALLY. All this "lets be friends", "I love you but I'm not in love with you" and similar crap is just a way to "nicely" dump someone. What was he gonna say - "I really don't feel like being around you anymore"? It's in people's nature to try and "soften the blow" - she has to be realistic, and understand this. If she continues living in a fantasy, she will be missing out on the more viable opportunities.

It is over and she needs to move on. She has not only drove a guy away but she is going to drive her best friend away as well. Tell her to get over it.
