He was there & it shaped my relationship with men. Because he cheated on my mother when I was 16, I was very untrusting of guys. I hurt a lot of guys b/c I was angry. I always left them before they could leave me.
Never under estimate how much a dad impacts a girld's future male relationships.

no my father wasnt around he died when i was 7 mo. old and it really hurts to think and talk about it he has been dead for 17 yrs. on the 16 of this month but its fine i grew up great and my life is great but if he was alive im more than sure that if he was alive then he would be around!

Yeah he was around. And I hope that he'd have beat my *** if I had started any relationship with men other than just friends.

my dad left when i was 7yo. my mum did a great job. my only fear is i'll get divorced like my parents. ive been amrried for 5yo now and have 2 small kids. i think if your mum teaches you right you dont need a male rolemodel i did fine without my day.
