Yes it's I before E, except after C.

other ways are to spell the word using the words syllables,
the word yesterday has 3 syllables, these are yes ter day, put them all together you have yesterday.

there is a rule for words such as receive and believe etc..

It's ' I before E, except after C'

There are a few other exceptions but that's the general rule!

Question everything you spell. Look it up in the dictionary if you even think it might be wrong. Pretty soon you'll be saying, "I thought I was right" a lot more than you did in the beginning. I now find that I'm right more than I'm wrong.

mnemonics - because (Big Elephants Can Always Understand Small Elephants)

Putting the word to a rhyme - difficulty ( mrs d, mrs i, mrs ffi, mrs c, mrs u mrs lty)

link it to pictures bed if you look at it, the upright of the b and d form the bedposts of the bed. this looks good if you can place a picture of someone lying down on top of the letters.

make up a little phrase with the letters

many. some ways are to memorize the deffinitions for them. or you could make flash cards for them. or learn[if there's any] the base word.

split the word into its syllabal components and remember the spelling for those syllabals.
