I weigh 182 pounds im 5-10 5-11 something like that I bench 180 pounds and everyone keeps on telling me that I'm gonna stop growing and that im gonna be 5-10 forever. Why do they do this? I dont even bench that much btw 180 is not my max I do not believe that doing 1 rep helps all it is is bragging. I do 180 about 20 times so what is this jellousy?

You won't stop growing if you can do 180lbs 20 times! Now, of you were to do your max (1-3 reps) all the time, that would be a different matter. There are no studies to prove that weightlifting stunts your growth. If you are done puberty though you might not grow any taller but you might have a little gowth left in you.

highly unlikely weight lifting will inhibit growth.
just don't get crazy with it.
i don't think jealousy is an issue, people just like to be know-it-all's.
