i have terrible credit! so i will have someone else get it for me under their credit..... my question is, can i still get insurance under my name? will it be more expensive or does anyone know how that works? can i still drive it even though it wont be under my name? thank you!!!

There are different rules and regulations for each state.You may want to check with The Division of Motor Vehicles for you state.You should have a DMV Agent in your area.You can also Google the DMV for your state and get some answers.In some states you can register the car with your insurance and reistration, the title can be placed in your friends' name as collateral till you make your final payment and then transfer titleship into your name.You can drive any car provided that it is fully legal and you should be on their insurance policy.Good Luck

You have terrible credit so now you are going to drag someone else (probably a family member) down the drain with you?? Why don't you save up two thousand dollars and BUY a decent used car?
