I'd ask him with a note. That's what I had happen in sixth grade. I ended up dating the girl. You're in sixth grade, that's what you do in sixth grade... Oh yea... I guess Txting would be the same. Didn't have that in my day.

well there's a couple things depending on what kind of girl you are.either way you should get to know him become really good friends. but don't be too annoying.
if you're gutsy : tell him how you feel that's what i did. i really liked this guy so he asked who i liked and i told him. i dnt have any luck but hey who says you won't?
if you're shy : just get to know him then tell him when you're comfortable telling him things. and talking to him.
boys are complicated trust me.

Find an excuse to talk to him, whether it be a question about homework or asking what the time is; talk to him. Then he will feel like he can talk to you more freely. Befriend him.
