If you have a cholesterol problem I don't really think that sprinkling flax seeds over it is the answer to your problem. If you have the need for ice cream try and switch to frozen yogurt or low fat ice cream instead of full fat ice cream, it's much safer for you and a lot of them taste very good and will give you the feeling of eating ice cream and keep your cholesterol down

If cholesterol is really an issue, then get off the ice cream. Try some really decedent flavours of soy ice cream, or even fome fruity sorbets. Flax does help with this issue though, and really can be sprinkled on anything--desserts, salads, cereal, etc.

Yes flax seed will be healthy plus be a treat for your health and you.
You may also be interested in flax seed pudding, which is really good.
I don't eat this stuff, but i know because of my mom being a health freak and all.
Flaxseed is really good for cholesterol
They're an omega 3 fat which is really good, because seeds and nuts are what we are suppose to be eating to gain weight which is a natural way.

your best bet is to eat less ice cream or get a low cholesterol version of your favorite ice cream. adding the seeds to it will not change what is in the ice cream.
