how do you know what type of friend is someone you can trust? i ask because i had a friend that i knew for more then 9 years who tried to steal my boyfriend. so how do you know who to trust?

Trust is like a treasure, it's very hard to find , but once you gain someone's trust or vice versa, it's really something priceless. You cannot immediately get the full trust of a person or a friend, they say trust is being earned. But sometimes if you have a bad gut feeling that you don't trust that person or you suspect a person of being untrusted, then you have to believe it sometimes and try to investigate further or just be more cautious in trusting important things or information.

You don't really don't know what kind of friend you can't trust. But once a friend they shoudl respect what's yours and not try to get it for themselves. A friend like that you shoudln't be around. And now a days it hard to really trust anybody 100%.

Trust is not something you should gave to anyone. they have to gained it and yes this might take years....
if someone gave you money, this is definitely not a symbol of trust yet ...
if you don't know anybody to trust yet, better keep it inside .. the closest would be your parents ... trust them before you trust others.....

Hard to tell. People sometimes make bad judgement calls
but sometimes they are users the whole time you know them
but you don't see it. Every time you trust, you set yourself up.
But follow you're instincts and that's the best you can do.
Just don't let them pull it on you more than once.

well obviously you can't trust her when it comes to that kind of thing..this is kind of a hard question..cause you cant really just decide to trust someone..they have to earn your trust...you have to decide that for yourself..not ask other people if you can trust them...you just kinda learn from experience with certain types of people....

trust people enough that you can share your miseries with, but never too much too let them stab you in the back without you noticing. In other words, NEVER fully trust anyone unless you can bet your life that they would never do anyting to harm you!

trust yourself, if there is noone out there you can trust. there is this saying that says:
If you get yourself in jail, your freind will be there to bail you out. A true friend would be sitting next to you in jail saying "man that was fun"~

There's know one you can trust but i think the best is your relatives cousins or whatever your boy freind, husband etc..

sometimes it hard to know. but i think someone that has been there for you through thick and thin.that always has your back is a good start to knwoing you can trust someone

I guess you don't. Girls can be mean, and from what i'v seen and experienced they can turn their back on you like that.
