Use a hair product that says thickening or bodifying on the label. I like a combination of Tigi root boost (hold pieces of your hair up and spray on the roots) and some sort of thickening gel. My best advice is to splurge on an expensive hair cut at a good salon and buy some of the products that the stylist recommends. You can also use shampoo and conditioner for extra body.
Basically, you'll never make your hair thicker but you can make it look thicker and work like thicker hair.

If you are a girl, just try a gel or mousse. I have fine thin straight hair and found if I got a proper cut to have it appear thicker, your hair dresser should know. I get a few layers and that helps. Not thick layers! Use a gel or mousse.
If you are a guy, don't worry about it, my son started going bald at 16 and he had beautiful long curly locks as a child. He did not fight it, he just shaved his head or keeps the hair real short. THE GIRLS LOVE IT! He has never and I mean never been without a girlfriend. Can only work with what you are blessed and be glad with the blessings. You could be sick and have no hair. But then would you care! God Bless!

Certain vitimins can promote healthy, thicker hair.
But they may take some time (and patience)
In the meanwhile you can use hair product to give the appearance of fuller hair.
I recommend the Big Sexy Hair products
(you can find them in any salon and Walgreen's.) I love the Sexy Hair line, it works better than other things I have tried. It can be costly however, so typically it's not something that could be my "usual volumizing product."
You should give Matrix amplify line a try as well. I'm currently using their mousse which is so nice because it doesn't make your hair sticky or have a strong scent.
Aloe vera applied on the scalp is supposed to make hair grow thicker. (Something I have yet to try!)
A trim however can get rid of damaged hair, ie. split ends and breakage. Be sure you have a trustworthy stylist that will insure you that he/she won't chop all your hair off.
Massaging your head is said to work as well. Apparently, it increases blood flow and circulation that stimulates hair growth. With that said I recommend a good hairbrush.
Well, hope that helps. :)

Get your hair trimmed once a month. That makes your hair look thicker. Your can also get it layered. Also use pantene shampoos and condintioners. I used to have really thin hair but after i tried these method my hair looks great. Also dont use a ton of mouse or gel that will just make your hair look greasy.

There are many effective products available over the counter like the minoxidil. Some drugs taken orally requires doctors pprescription like propecia. These are effective remedy for thinning hair unless you wanted a hair transplant.

Pantene makes a great conditioner for thin hair that my friend uses. She says it makes her hair a lot thicker.

Yes, I used this shampoo called mane, tail, and body something like that. It has a horse on the cover. It will make your hair cleaner and thicker cause it worked on mine. It is designed to be used on horses but it is pefectly safe for human use because they actually tell you on the bottle.
Hope that works :)

Nioxin products and Biotin supplements. Nioxin is salon product kind of spendy. Can find for a little bit cheaper online. Biotin is about $3 a bottle at a drugstore in the vitamin isle. But it will take some time. But it will work

For just three easy payments you can spray some on. Ron actually takes his spray with him most everywhere he goes. Anyway, on a serious note; if it is long enough try putting it in braids. This will help as long as you don't have a medical condition. At any rate, Good Luck.

Well you can't really change how your natural hair is.
You can always put Volumizing shampoo to make it look bigger and cutting your hair in layers also gives the illusion thats its thicker.
And you could try extensions too if you wanted.
