Well, there's the egg-on-a-spoon race, but also, there's the one where you put an egg between two people's foreheads and they have to try to walk, like, sideways with the egg between them across a line.
Extra fun if it's a peeled hardboiled egg!
Ewwwwww!

I did a neat invitation one year but it requires some work. I took construction paper and cut out a red square then cut a red egg and a white egg the same size and glue them tip to tip. Then you take a smaller square and glue it to the back of the red square but only glue it on two sides. The idea is to make a bottomless pocket the eggs will fit through. Slide the eggs through you want the white egg up top. Take a small piece of string punch a hole in the red egg and tie through the hole. The white egg should say something like Your Invited! Pull String To Dye Egg. When you pull the string the white egg will slide behind the red square and the red egg will come out the bottom and have the date time and party info.
Sounds complicated but it's not bad as long as you don't have a ton of invites to make. There very cute and everyone will love them.
As for a silly game at the end of the dying we always have a contest to see who can dye a egg the closest to the color black. Divide the kids into teams and with adult help let them pour the leftover dye into a empty container in whatever amounts they want. Then let them dye a egg. Have the teams compare there eggs. The egg closest to black wins.

Well, if your theme is eggs, carry the theme throughout the party, plates, napkins, invites.
Dye some eggs in advance, might even blow some eggs, and have the shells ready to decorate. There are cute egg decorating kits out there, and places like Martha Stewart will have more. And she has a foolproof recipe to cook boiled eggs. A little egg mousy, an egg rabbit, way cute! Have supplies for the really creatitve to paint their own. You could pre-cut the felt or paper, and make little kits yourself. Or have stations, and everybody gets a chance to make each thing.
A cute favor, or prize, would be to buy those plastic eggs, fill it with candy, or put a prize in it, buy some cute ribbon, and decorate the plastic egg. You could even have an easter egg hunt, using the plastic eggs. The price of the prize inside is up to you, from chocolates to little girl jewelry, to Easter themed little toys. Have some cute, cheap baskets for folks to carry their creations home in.
Have you thought about the menu? Egg dishes would be cute. Deviled eggs, egg salad, obvious choices. Maybe have the cake egg shaped, it is already in keepeing with the theme, it is made with eggs.
The Easter Bunny needs help! Come to the Eggstravaganza at Mary's house, March 21 at 1pm! Luncheon will be served! Wear your egg-dyeing clothes, we will be designing and decorating to help out our favorite bunny!
You could have games, the egg in spoon relay race, or the two people balance the egg between their heads and walk over the finnish line game. You could even have a decorate the Easter basket station. Or lets use eggs to cook with station.
Have fun, sounds like a cute idea.
