Well, you said you wanted something out of the ordinary, not run of the mill, so here are a few ideas:
*Dwyn- He was the Celtic god of love. I am sure your baby will be an absolute lover!
*Fergus- Also Celtic, means vigor. Being part Chihuahua, he will always be full of energy.
*Caleb- A name taken from the Bible, he was one of two that lived to see the promised land--Hebrew for "dog".
*Nuka-Means "younger sibling" in Greenlandic.
