This is kind of a random question... why do people never sleep in their sleep? Why is that only something that happens when we're awake? Don't thinks like dust or allergies affect you while you sleep? Why not?

Yes, yes, my brain got ahead of my fingers... i didn't mean "sleep in their sleep"... if you read the actual question and not just the details, you would see that I meant "sneeze while you sleep".

People can and do sneeze in their sleep. But seeing as how they are asleep they are rarely effected by it. Your sinuses still respond to allergens when you are asleep the same way they would if you were awake. Did you ever go to bed feeling a little "off" only to wake up the next morning with a full blown head cold?

Sneezing is a reflex.
It is something psychological. When you look at the sun you sneeze, no explanation for that too, nothing goes into your nose at that moment.
Therefore, while sleeping you're sleeping and nothing makes you sneeze...

ive woken up sneezing before. notice: if you sneeze, it wakes you up, therefore you're not sleeping anymore, you're awake.

If you do sneeze in bed, it wakes you up most likely.
