Let me make up a very unlikely situation that won't ever happen (at least in my lifetime).

If the U.S. just happened to pissed off the World so much that even its closest allies (Britain and Israel included) decide to war against the U.S.

And assuming nuclear weapons are not used, will U.S. still be able to win if it were to fight against the ENTIRE WORLD?

Well to strictly answer your question.....No, in a war such as you describe, which put simply, would be a war of attrition, the US would eventually lose,do to the fact that the rest of the world's militarys would continue to send wave after wave of soldiers against us. Sooner or or later they would overwhelm any technological advantages we may or may not have.

the world will win.

Lets just take one other nation...china. even if we just used one round of ammunition on each of their soldiers...we would run out of bullets before they ran out of soldiers.

Germany wasn't defeated in ww II by a technologically superior group of nations...they got over whelmed by numbers and resources they didn't have.

So..unless the use of nuclear weapons as a numbers equalizer is used, the US wouldn't win against the rest of the world.
