I got what looked like a flea bite on my shin, but 12 years later, it's still bloody there!
Anyone any ideas why or what this might be?

go to your doctor and find out
your shin is always vulnerable to knocks
you may have a cyste ( developed from the original bite )
if this is bleeding , it needs attention
Really it is difficult and futile ,for us here
to speculate on what it may be

Well that sucks, are you sure it was a flea? Cause I've been bitten by fleas and it heals right up.
