Yes, you see not all of the english alphabets letters are used in Korea. In fact some are practically strangers to Koreans. Say for example 'R' Instead of saying 'r' they'll use a more similar sound which is 'ㄹ' pronounced as 'L' But by putting an accent on the R can sound more like an L. Do you ever hear them say the word 'Fan' in english? Like when they say 'You're my fan?' or something like that. They'll say 'Pan' instead XD Quite funny~ So really the letters are slightly hard to pronounce for them but they have certain ways of going round them. Like when Leeteuk says 'super junior' he pronounces it as 'Shupeo Junieo' That's because if you can read in Hangul you can see that what they are saying is initially the correct spelling '슈퍼주니어'.

I think there are more than 24 letters. They also have some compound vowels which are made by combining two vowels.

ㄱㄴㄷㄹㅁㅂㅅㅇㅈㅊㅋㅌㅍㅎ ------ 14 letters
ㅏㅑㅓㅕㅗㅛㅜㅠㅡㅣ-------10 letter
* 24 letters in total.
ex) Computer →
c(ㅋ)+o(ㅓ)+m(ㅁ) = 컴 com
p(ㅍ)+u(ㅠ) = 퓨 pu
t(ㅌ)+ er(ㅓ) = 터 ter
★ so if you write computer in Korean,
you can do this way. com pu ter → 컴퓨터
